Just as with Hootsuite, Buffer also offers a forever free pricing plan. This plan allows for one user, 3 social profiles and 10 scheduled posts in a queue at one time. The free plan allows you to integrate with Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google+.
Paid plans for Buffer start at $10 per month, which then also allows you to also connect a Pinterest account.
This tool is completely free to anyone who has a twitter account. The interface is very similar to that of Hootsuite and allows users to create ‘streams’ to monitor their Twitter account. You are also able to schedule tweets via this platform.
You can link multiple twitter accounts to the one platform with no restrictions.Twitter is the only social platform you can manage via Tweetdeck.
Tools for creating graphics
Canva is arguably the most well-known graphic designing tool there is online and for good reason. Canva offers a forever free plan allowing you to create an endless number of graphics in an easy to use interface and over 8,000 templates.

Infographics are known to work extremely well across social media and as content in general. They’re easy to read and make information easy to digest. Easel.ly understands this and has created a platform where you can easily create your own infographics from a blank canvas, or using pre-made templates.
You can customise your infographics by colour, font, through adding hyperlinks, changing transparency etc. It’s a great tool. The free plan allows for a wide variety of infographic possibility. If you are looking for a paid plan, it costs as little as $36 a year.
Adobe post allows you to create stunning graphics, web pages, and video stories using your computer, iPad or iPhone. It also allows you to create beautiful videos to use across your social media accounts.
The free account does come with restrictions though. The content you create will include the Adobe spark logo and you will be restricted by the colours that you use. The paid plan starts at US$9.99 a month.
A 100% free tool, Google Analytics should be used by everybody without hesitation. This tool will allow you to understand and track your website visitors behaviours. These insights will help you to understand the type of content they enjoy, the pages/products they’re most interested in, as well as which pages could be optimised for better page performance.

Social media listening tools
Social mention is a completely free real-time search platform that allows you to track a certain phrase, word or brand mention or website mention across blogs, the news, and social media. The main difference between social mention and other similar tools is that social mention also analyses questions, microblogs, bookmarks, and obscure and seemingly (but not so) insignificant threads.
The search will also show you the sentiment of the topic being discussed, top keywords, top users and related hashtags.

Video creation and editing tools
Biteable is a video creation platform where you can create explainer videos, infographic style videos, cartoon videos and much more. The platform also provides you with templates to base your videos on. It’s a great way to create short pieces of content to share across social channels.
The forever free plan allows you to create upto 5 HD quality video projects a month, allowing you to publish the videos across YouTube and Facebook.
